Katie has worked in the acting industry as both a teacher and performer for over 20 years, and brings vast experience and knowledge to our faculty.

 

As well as coaching Acting privately, she currently teaches Drama  at Highgate school plus runs a highly successful public speaking programme. Katie has extensive experience of performance exam work, ensuring that she gets the best results for her students, passing on her knowledge and skills to them.

 

Through coaching LAMDA, Katie believes that this genre will enhance Musical Theatre performances, as it encourages the students to really think about what they’re singing, and of course continually act through song - something that V.A. really encourages and nurtures. She is very excited about this new venture with VA Dance and Theatre Arts.
